Dr. Yolanda Haywood has been a longtime leader at GW, holding positions such as associate dean for student and curricular affairs and professor of emergency medicine at SMHS. She holds a BS in zoology and an MD from Howard University. She also graduated from the physician assistant program and was a resident at SMHS.
In her role as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Diversity, Dr. Haywood looks forward to working with colleagues across the school to strengthen the SMHS mission of improving the health and well-being of the school’s local, national, and global communities.
